Chantell Van Erbé is a contemporary artist whose decades-long practice explores memory, transformation, symbolism, and inner perception. Working in painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media, she creates images that invite contemplation while leaving space for viewers to discover their own interpretations. Her art is included in the permanent collection of the Butler Institute of American Art and has been presented in solo and juried exhibitions throughout the United States and internationally, including the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Her work has also been featured in Art HERStory Magazine and New Jersey Masters: A New Legacy of Visual Arts.Grounded in intuition, observation, and lived experience, Erbé embraces the unexpected, allowing each piece to unfold naturally as ideas, memories, and symbolism converge. She believes that time is one of art’s greatest collaborators. Creativity has no expiration date. With each passing year, both the artist and her art continue to grow, inviting new perspectives and deeper understanding.
