Between 2002-2010 I was a lecturer at the Evening Academy of the Rhein-Palatinate district and taught drawing and painting.I live g and working in Germany since 1983 as a freelance artist and make-up artist for television, film, and theatre.2025:Selected among the 50 ART Influencers of 2025 in a special edition of Art HERstory Magazine January 2026 by Art Queens Gallery, Curator Salma EltoukhyAward winning 2026 – International Prize „The Universal Genius – Tribute to Leonardo Da Vinci “– 21 March, Milan ,ItalyStatementDrawing upon decades of experience in the visual arts, theatre, and pedagogy, my work is inherently narrative. Far removed from fleeting trends, I paint to capture transient moments, to tell storys, creating an open dialogue that invites the viewer to pause and feel.My artistic practice moves fluidly between two distinct mediums, each serving a unique conceptual purpose. In my acrylic paintings, depth reveals itself layer by layer, exuding a structured, grounding energy. Conversely, my watercolors allow the colors to “dance” with spontaneity. For me, watercolor is the perfect metaphor for our fast-paced world—a distillation to the essence, capturing a fleeting movement where time blurs.Ultimately, these paintings are snapshots of the soul, designed to serve as visual anchors within a spaceMy work has garnered international recognition and is held in private collections worldwide, including through Singulart
Curator’s Note
Jolanda Walther distinguishes acrylic and watercolor as complementary languages, using layered depth in one and spontaneous movement in the other to capture transient, narrative moments.
